The people behind the ride

Meet the
Riding Hosts.

Every Trans-Himalayan Odyssey is led by riders who have spent years exploring the Himalayas—not from behind a desk, but from the saddle. We're here to share the roads, the stories, and the unforgettable moments that make every journey special.

I've been riding for the last 18 years. It didn't start with anything big—just a simple 100cc motorcycle, the kind most riders begin with. Back then it was simply about getting from one place to another, but somewhere along the way, the ride became something much more.

What keeps me riding isn't speed or distance—it's the experience. Being out there, surrounded by mountains where the sound of the engine fades into the background and all that remains is the road, the wind and a quiet sense of awareness. Those moments remind me how small we are, and how beautiful the world can be.

Every ride becomes a story. The changing landscapes, the silence of the Himalayas and the unpredictability of the journey all leave something behind. As a filmmaker, I love capturing those emotions so they can be experienced long after the ride is over.

Motorcycling, for me, is more than a hobby. It's freedom, reflection and connection all at once. That's the feeling I hope every rider takes home after sharing the road with us.

For over 15 years, I have been exploring India's most challenging roads on two wheels. My journey began on a humble 100cc motorcycle—a bike that most people would never consider taking into the Himalayas. But for me, the motorcycle was never the limitation. It was always about finding a way forward.

From the highest passes of Ladakh to the remote valleys of Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and the length of South India, I have spent years discovering the country one road at a time. Whether riding solo into the unknown or leading groups across some of the world's highest motorable roads, I have built an understanding of the mountains that only comes from thousands of kilometres in the saddle.

I have crossed most of the iconic Himalayan passes multiple times—on motorcycles as well as by four-wheel drive—giving me an unmatched knowledge of the terrain, the weather, the routes and the challenges that come with riding at high altitude. When conditions change unexpectedly, my experience allows me to make calm, well-informed decisions that keep every journey moving safely.

Beyond riding, I am passionate about discovering places that lie beyond the usual tourist routes. I enjoy exploring remote villages, forgotten mountain tracks and landscapes where nature remains untouched. My curiosity for local history and culture is matched by my love for photography, drone cinematography and capturing authentic moments that tell the real story of the Himalayas.

For Me, every expedition is more than reaching a destination. It's about embracing the unexpected, respecting the mountains and helping fellow riders experience the raw beauty of places that few people ever get to see.
